Jess and Jerrie both volunteer their time to a variety of local nonprofits. They share a vision for Thurston County as a place that supports green, sustainable business and thriving agriculture.
Take Time to Smell the Roses. The old adage that Law is a demanding mistress remains true. Jess and Jerrie work hard to maintain their legal edge, but they play hard too. When not practicing law, you'll often find Jess singing or playing Celtic music with her partner Mark and other music friends in one of Olympia's pubs or with her high-energy Celtic band Loch Dhu. She is also a member of Constellation's Crew, the official sea shanty group of the US Constellation led by Hank Cramer. Jessica performs regularly throughout the Northwest and at special events around the US and Canada and appears on several CDs. She enjoys sailing, hiking, biking, camping and paddle boarding and has been an organic gardener since she was 19. Jess has two adult stepsons and 4 grandkids in Vermont. Jerrie is a self-described gym rat who loves adventure and exploring the great outdoors with her husband Dash and children Aidan and J. Lee. From rock climbing to beachcombing, you'll find Jerrie out and about enjoying Washington's splendor. She's also been involved in theatre for many years, including acting and directing. At home she enjoys relaxing with her husband and kids, all kinds of gardening, and planning an off-the-grid house that she and Dash will soon be creating.
